Richard Garriott invented and reinvented the computer RPG genre after every new title of the Ultima series. Playing the whole series is like studying the very history of CRPGs. All games were very popular back in the days, and that's probably why the series went on forever.

Ultima III picks up where its prequel left: after slaying Minax, Mondain's apprentice and lover, Sosaria started a new age of peace and enlightenment. But a new evil spreads: its name is Exodus. Enough said... you'll have to save the world again.

Ultima III for the first time features an adventuring party. Graphics are very simple, similar to that of Ultima II.
