This fun little adventure game didn't get much attention back in the days, but it was daringly innovative and unique.
The story is a standard good vs. evil fairy tale, but it's bearable somehow. The place you live in has been seized by the evil sorceress Selena and her army of snorkles (funny name). You've been arrested in the process because you were watching close to the spot where the skirmish happened and the former governor has fallen. Your duty as a hero is to struck down the evil sorceress and resume peace and prosperity in Turnvale.
Lure of the temptress features an intriguing system where you form commands from verbs and names of things or people. Simply right-click and it returns a list for you to choose from. This includes telling other people what to do -- practically unseen in any other game so far! Its engine also makes it possible for non-player characters to go around town freely, like real people would. Other than this, it's a fairly simple game, with reasonable grahics and sounds for its time. Many dialogs are humorous and remind me of Legend of Kyrandia -- which adds to the fun factor of the game.
It isn't a long game, but might keep you busy for a few hours. Give it a try if you haven't already!
