The full title didn't fit the our tiny space above: Leisure Suit Larry 3: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals!. Al Lowe ignored the marketing guys pleads when choosing the name of this one, making up one of the longest game names of all times (unnecessarily).
I know many people regard this as the best game in the LSL series, but the exagerated amount of clueless puzzles kept it a bit under the other installments in my concept. It's still a classic Larry game though, and an innovative one, as this time, besides Larry, you also control sexy Passionate Patti -- Larry's next conquest.
The game picks up where Larry 2 ended: after marrying Kalalau, the daughter of the leader of a tropical paradise, you finally start a happy life as the hero of the island, rich and with a beautiful wife. But only for a short term: all of a sudden, Kalalau decides to leave you for another woman, leaving you down on your luck once again! Typical.
Well, at first it feels bad, but then Larry realises he has a lot to win being single in a touristic tropical island with all those chicks sunbathing topless.
The graphics look a lot like Larry 2, and while I find Larry 2's sceneries less confusing and easier to navigate, the music in Larry 3 is a lot better then in its prequel. Other than this, we're looking at a worthy member of the Leisure suit Larry family, so you might as well start downloading at once. :)
